ET Women Ahead: India Inc's Rising Women Leaders

India Inc is in overdrive to improve gender diversity by increasing the number of women in the workforce. Companies realized that the challenge is that much harder, and the strategic need of the hour is to improve gender diversity at the top and middle levels of the organization. Getting more women into top management is now a CEO and board-level mandate at many top companies.

Here, in India, many women have broken the proverbial 'glass ceiling' and proved their mettle, be it Kalpana Morparia, Mallika Srinivasan, Schauna Chauhan, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Roshni Nadar or Zia Mody. India Inc now more than ever, realizes their strategic value. The Economic Times, India's premier business newspaper, is at the forefront of this positive change.

Women Ahead is ET's annual listing of India's fast-rising women business leaders. The study is done in association with Spencer Stuart.

The Economic Times Women Ahead felicitation ceremony will be held on October 12, 2023 in Mumbai.
